I am a writer, filmmaker, and content creator. I tell stories and make things.
Bio
I am professional writer, editor, and media maker based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Drawing on his diverse background in the media industry and training in technical and professional communication, I employ a robust narrative sensibility to create compelling content and documentation for your organization and audience.
A native of New York City, I cut my teeth in the city’s independent film scene, working extensively on set and behind the scenes, honing my own filmmaking and storytelling skills. I relocated to San Francisco in the late 1990s, working in commercial production and post production before joining Al Gore’s startup television and social media platform, Current TV, helping to launch the broadcast operations team.
Seeking opportunities to apply my skills more broadly in the Bay Area, I completed the Technical and Professional Communications program at San Francisco State University, while continuing to create media for the web, non-profits and the legal field. I am also a full time parent to a child on the autism spectrum, heavily involved in coordinating and advocating for his therapeutic and educational services, and helping fundraise for his school.
